Detailed Ill Storm Guide 2

OO yay!

I have an Illusion storm! and I PvP with her! and she's total fun to PvP with, Granted If you have one You will die. It's just going to happen but you can have fun fun fun confusing masterminds and Being invisible and running through a group of villains or heroes with hurricane on that have just come out of a mission in warbug or sirens call. On the up side they're really fun to PvP with. So here goes. This is what works for me for right now. I change her sometimes too to try to get her exactly how I want her but have to wait for the issues to come out as she's used up all of her respec's.

I am going to change her build yet again when the next issue respec comes out as I'm not quite happy with some of the levels of her power sets/and or slotting.

Some people like Superior Invisbility. I'm considering taking out group invisbility at that level and adding steamy mist in instead with the +stealth IO in her jump plus steamy mist she'd have the 6 second invisibility in between from when she attacks to when it is active again. Freezing Rain and Hurricane are enhanced the way they are because I really like the debuffs both of those powers give.

Fairly certain thunderclap is going bye bye.

In siren's she dies. Stalkers get her and ice corruptors, some dom's though not all. However if I see them first, she can take on brutes and stalkers and defeat those fairly easily- If i can catch them that is. Mastermind's it depends on whether they are traps and I've walked into that puking trap. If I keep her out of range of it then She defeats masterminds fairly easily.

In warbug it depends generally she can go up against any brute/tanker and either defeat them or come out even sometimes she gets defeated it depends on the PvP'er behind the character. Scrappers and stalkers if she isn't taken by surprise she can defeat those. Blasters and corruptor's it depends. Dom's I've never battled in warbug. Other controller's it depends on what they are mind controllers give her a bit of a battle. Grav's do not. Other illusion sets it depends on the person behind the Character. Some I've defeated some I have not.

Recluse's Victory. I haven't ever solo'd someone there, with Frau my illusion/storm generally she's on a team with an ice/em tank and we do very well as long as it's not one of those standing around battle challenges. Masterminds are more challenging in RV so that's fun. Everyone is a bit more challenging in RV who PvP's on a regular or semi-regular basis.

Your illusion/storm will die. However the storm set can keep things off you or away from you very well, I like/prefer playing her with a friend in PvP zones she's very good support, and debuffs like mad with the storm set. If you have hurricane at a lower level in siren's you'll get tp foed and they'll get knocked away from you. Watch out for the whammies of EM from above.

The spectral terror if you go to siren's you'll want that.

I enjoy gale and deceive in siren's as well as hurricane. Phantom army is actually my 'oh crap' power.

Lightning storm is awesome in Warbug combined with snowstorm and freezing rain. Especiallly for those who try to engage you in melee battle So this is the general gist of a ill/storm for PvP like I mentioned she needs more tweaking to be exactly what I want. Everyone's style is different as well. You may find SI more beneficial to you, or some of the powerpool sets. Have fun PvPing.
